What are some great things to do on a date in the wintertime?

I am planning a date that is LONG overdue for my husband and I but I have no idea what to plan or do on the date. We live in cleveland, ohio and it’s terribly cold. Our wedding anniversary just past and we didn’t get to do anything and we rarely get alone time together so I figured I’d create a special/romantic day just for the two of us. Any tips or pointers? Note: staying in is not an option and real answers only please. Thanx!

Ice skating!
My husband and I went ice skating on our first date, and we still go any time we can get a chance. It’s really romantic. Don’t be afraid if you can’t skate, because that’s part of the fun in it. Falling down, laughing at each other, holding each other’s hands, etc. Most people catch on within the first 10 minutes once they get their ice legs. It’s sad how so many people are too boring and lame to actually get out there and try it that they miss out on something fun for fear of falling or looking silly! For us it’s the perfect fun, romantic date. Bundle up if you go to an outdoor rink, but you could also go to an indoor rink, where it’s actually quite warm. We go to an indoor rink sometimes, and we both just wear sweaters, and we feel comfortable. And, of course, afterward, you can always go home for some hot chocolate or go out for dinner and coffee. It’s the perfect date, I think.
